SWIMRUN COTE D’AZUR is an endurance event comprising alternating sea swimming sections and running sections on coastal paths.

For all distances, the event takes place in teams of 2 people, in a single stage. Your team must be made up of 2 men or 2 women or mixed. For its 7th edition, SWIMRUN COTE D’AZUR will limit registrations to 100 pairs in each format.

For the S, M and L distance, the event can take place alone. R

egistrations to 50 solos on each format.

Many of you are wondering about the arrival on the international swimrun scene of a new actor : MySwimRun Championships

MySwimRun Championships offers since 2022 a new European swimrun circuit composed of 8 major events in the 4 corners of Europe, for 2023 the races are as follows:

  • Swimrun Mazarron, Spain, June, 11th, 2023
  • SwimRun Rheinsberg, Deutchland, June, 26, 2023

  • Immeln SwimRun, Sueden, August, 19th, 2023
  • Dyfi Swimrun, UK, September, 23th, 2023
  • SwimRun Côte d’Azur, France, October, 22th 2023
  • SwimRun Hydra, Greece, November, 25th, 2023

Through these events it will be possible for participants to qualify via a ranking each year for the finals in 3 formats : short, half and marathon and every year the finals of each format will take place in different places.

It is the particularity of this championship where each event through its identity offers an original experience and enriched with its local culture.

For this second year, the European Championship MySwimRun Championships takes off and is enriched with a race in Spain. Which will be the winners on the three distances of the championship: Sprint, Half and Marathon ?

L race format

Sunday October 23, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. – 30 kms in total including 25 kms of RUN and 5 kms of SWIM

The event will start and end at the Port of Beaulieu-Sur-Mer, crossing the towns of Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat and Villefranche-sur-Mer.

The “SWIMRUN CÔTE D’AZUR” event is reserved for trained people in good physical condition..

Start place: beach “Petite Afrique” in Beaulieu sur mer.

Mode of participation: SOLO or DUO

Composition of the teams : the event takes place in teams of 2 people, in a single stage. Your team must consist of 2 men or 2 women or mixed.

Registration fees

  • DUO : 110€  per team member
  • SOLO : 115€

Mandatory equipment

Before the start of the race, each swimrunner MUST have in his possession:

  • 1 wetsuit (short or long)
  • 1 pair of swimming goggles
  • 1 whistle (per pair)
  • 1 pair of sneakers the chasuble provided by the Organization the cap provided by the Organization

Matériel optionnel

In addition, if he wishes, a swimrunner may have in his possession:

  • 1 pair of swim pads
  • 1 pull buoy (regulatory dimensions)
  • 1 elastic strap between competitors

Prohibited material:
Any other equipment is strictly prohibited (fins, mask, snorkel, float other than pull buoy, etc.)

100 DUO

Number of pairs voluntarily limited by the organization for security reasons.

50 SOLO

Number of SOLO registrations voluntarily limited by the organization for security reasons.

Regulatory distances

The two members constituting a team must remain close at all times during the event. The maximum distances allowed between the 2 members are 50m on land and 10m in water. A race marshal may stop the first team member and make him wait for his teammate if the distance between the two is deemed too great.

Time barriers

The table of time barriers will be communicated to competitors on the website and at the information stand. These time barriers will make it possible to stop the “slowest” teams in order to ensure the safety of the entire event.

M Race format

Sunday October 22, 2023 at 08:45 a.m. – 17 kms in total including 13.7 kms of RUN and 3.4 kms of SWIM

The event will start and end at the Port of Beaulieu-Sur-Mer, crossing
the communes of Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat .

The “SWIMRUN CÔTE D’AZUR” event is reserved for trained people in good physical condition..

Start place: “Petite Afrique” beach in Beaulieu sur mer.

Mode of participation: SOLO or DUO

Composition of the teams: the event takes place in teams of 2 people, in a single stage. Your team must consist of 2 men or 2 women or mixed.

  • DUO : 80€ per team member
  • SOLO : 85€

The minimum age to participate is 18 years old on the day of the event for formats M and L and 16 years old on the day of the event for format S.

Supporting documents to be provided

You must provide a medical certificate of less than 1 year, attesting to your ability to SWIMRUN in competition. You can use . the medical certificate template posted on the site. This must be duly completed and signed by your doctor.

Withdrawal of bibs

Date, time and place of withdrawal

The collection of bibs will take place on Saturday October 21th, 2023, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the port of Beaulieu sur mer, at the level of the “registration” tent.

Each swimrunner in the pair must present :

  • a valid ID
  • either a valid FFTRI license
  • either a valid medical certificate with the mention “SUITABILITY FOR SWIMRUN in competition”

Swimrunner package

During this withdrawal, you will receive 1 “Swimrunner Package” including:

  • 2 competition bibs sweat with the bib number
  • 2 swimming caps timing chip
